Crosswalk, Speed Bumps Ahead in White Marsh
Baltimore County is putting $20,000 toward improvements, Councilman David Marks says.
Drivers in White Marsh will be forced to slow down, and pedestrians will be more protected in the months to come, according to Baltimore County Councilman David Marks.
Marks said that three speed bumps will be installed by Pine Cone Court, Saxon Circle and Hillsleigh Court by the fall.
In addition, a raised crosswalks will be put in place in front of the White Marsh Swim Club, he said.

The improvements will cost $20,000 and come with the support of many Beaconsfield Drive residents, according to Marks.
“I have consistently supported traffic calming where there is local support,” Marks said in a statement. “This is a heavily used area, particularly at the swim club during summer months. The improvements will hopefully cause motorists to slow down and improve peace of mind for nearby residents.”
