Dave & Buster's To Open At White Marsh Mall

The sports bar and arcade-style restaurant is taking over the spot where a sporting goods store used to be in White Marsh.

WHITE MARSH, MD — Dave & Buster's is reportedly planning to open a fourth Maryland location, with its sights set on the White Marsh Mall.

The sports bar and arcade game-themed business has a presence at Maryland malls including Arundel Mills in Hanover, Ritchie Station in Capitol Heights and Ellsworth Place in Silver Spring.

The first Dave & Buster's opened in a warehouse in 1982 in Dallas, Texas.

At the White Marsh Mall, Dave & Buster's plans to take over the 53,000-square-foot space vacated by Sports Authority after the store went bankrupt last year, according to the Baltimore Business Journal, which first reported the news of Dave & Buster's filing for permits during the winter.

The proposed Dave & Buster's location is near Buffalo Wild Wings in the mall in the 8200 block of Perry Hall Boulevard and will have entrances both inside and outside the mall, the journal reported.
