Deadly Home Invasion on Rossville Boulevard, 3 Hospitalized: Police

A reward of up to $2,000 is offered for information in fatal home invasion Sunday morning.

ROSEDALE, MD — Authorities are working to determine whether the victims of a deadly home invasion on Rossville Boulevard this weekend were targeted.

One person died and two others were injured after an unknown number of suspects went into a home in the 7500 block of Rossville Boulevard, where they shot two men and assaulted another before 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, according to police.

Stanley Anthony Lane, 61, who had been shot in the upper body, was taken to an area hospital, where he later died, the Baltimore County Police Department reported.

Two other men — a 61-year-old with head wounds and a 23-year-old shot in the upper body — were treated at area hospitals and survived their injuries, police said.

A woman living at the home experienced a medical event that resulted in her hospitalization as well.

The suspect(s) fled the scene.
