Deadly Kingsville Crash: Police Need Help Identifying Truck

Police said a truck that killed a woman on US 40 in Kingsville may have had damage or recent repairs.

KINGSVILLE, MD — Police have released suspect photos in hopes of identifying the truck that hit and killed a woman on US 40 in Kingsville at the end of February.

It has several distinguishing features and is believed to have sustained damage.

The vehicle is a black 1999 to 2007 Ford Super Duty F-250 or F-350 with light-colored tool boxes mounted on the side as well as a ladder rack, police said.

Front-end damage may have occurred on the driver's-side bumper following the crash that killed Alexandra Justine Angel, 26, of the 12300 block of Pulaski Highway, according to officials.

Police said Angel was walking east on US 40/Pulaski Highway near the Little Gunpowder Falls when she was hit around 7:20 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 28.

The vehicle that hit her had been going east and took off after the crash, officials reported.

Investigators believe a headlamp may have been missing, and there may be damage to the housing surrounding it. Officials also noted the vehicle may have had recently repaired or replaced parts around the front end, including the headlight and surrounding area.

Anyone with information about the deadly crash and suspect vehicle is asked to call the Baltimore County Police Department at 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous.

There may be a reward for tips in connection with the crash.
