Decomposing Body Found in Rosedale Home: Police
Baltimore County detectives are conducting a death investigation after woman was unreachable, body found in residence.
ROSEDALE, MD — Authorities are investigating after a body was found decomposing inside a home in Rosedale, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
A relative of the person who lived in the home contacted police after not being able to reach her for several weeks, police said. Others had not seen her in at least a week.
Officers responded to the home in the 1500 block of Chapel Hill Drive after 11 p.m. Tuesday and found the decomposing body after forcing their way inside, according to a statement from police.

The body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy. Homicide detectives were handling the situation, which was classified as a death investigation.
The body was not immediately publicly identified.
