Engine Hit, Firefighter Injured: White Marsh VFC

Fire officials said that a vehicle crashed into one of the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company engines on Friday, March 22.

WHITE MARSH, MD — A firefighter was injured while responding to a medical emergency Friday night on Honeygo Boulevard, officials said. The White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company reported that its engine was hit, leaving the firefighter with a minor injury.

The crash happened at the White Marsh Park and Ride in the 8400 block of Honeygo Boulevard, the fire company reported after 10:30 p.m. on Friday, March 22.

The firefighter did not seek medical attention after the crash, according to authorities.

Because of the damage, Engine 202 will be out of service, the fire company reported.
