Fatal Crash Under Investigation on Philadelphia Road: Police
BREAKING: Police said a pedestrian died near Golden Ring Road after being hit by a truck.
ROSEDALE, MD — Authorities advised drivers to avoid a section of Philadelphia Road/MD 7 Friday morning due to a serious crash.
At 8 a.m., police said that there was a fatal collision involving a pedestrian on Philadelphia Road at Golden Ring Road.
A truck hit the pedestrian just east of Golden Ring Road, according to the Baltimore County Police Department, which reported the pedestrian was in the roadway on Philadelphia Road at the time of the crash.

Officials said the pedestrian was pronounced deceased, and the vehicle remained at the scene.

While detours were in place, police advised drivers to take alternate routes, as the investigation was anticipated to take several hours.
