House Fire In Perry Hall Suppressed, Officials Say

Fire at a home in Perry Hall was knocked when crews arrived Saturday night, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.

PERRY HALL, MD — A house fire that broke out in Perry Hall Saturday night had already been suppressed when crews arrived, according to officials.

Firefighters could see evidence of the fire from the exterior of a home in the 8900 block of Parlo Road, where they were dispatched at 6:21 p.m., authorities reported.

Officials said the blaze had been knocked before crews arrived.

The homeowner put out the fire, according to Fire Specialist Nicholas Tyson, who described it as a small fire that melted some of the siding.

Firefighters checked to ensure the flames had not spread, and medics evaluated the homeowner, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department. The homeowner had inhaled some smoke but was not taken to the hospital after being evaluated, Tyson said.

The source of the fire and estimated damage were unknown, according to Tyson.
