Flash Flood Warning in Effect (EXPIRED)
Baltimore County can expect flash flooding 'shortly,' according to National Weather Service.
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for parts of Baltimore County and Baltimore City.
A flash flood warning means flooding is imminent or occurring and people should move to higher ground immediately.
The warning is in effect until 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10.

Weather officials reported that up to 3 inches of rain had fallen by 2:35 p.m. and an additional inch was possible.

Before 2:35 p.m., the weather service said in a statement: โFlash flooding is expected to begin shortly.โ
The gauge at Glen Arm was at a flood stage of 8 feet, while flood waters were moving down Minebank Run, the weather service reported.
People are reminded not to cross swift waters or water where depth is not able to be determined.
