At one pretzel-maker, there's a twist; National Pretzel Day continues through Sunday, April 30, at Auntie Anne's. That's right, the beloved Auntie Anne's pretzel stand is offering one free original or cinnamon sugar pretzel through April 30 to people who have the "My Pretzel Perks" app on their smartphones.

At Wednesday's Orioles game at Camden Yards in Baltimore, the O's play the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and Snyder’s of Hanover will be there giving away tens of thousands of bags of pretzel pieces. Camden Yards is one of eight Major League Baseball stadiums where the freebies will be offered at the ballpark gates.

Snyder's will be giving away bags of pretzels like Honey Mustard & Onion, Hot Buffalo Wing, Jalapeno and S'mores at Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Fenway Park in Boston, Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago, Comerica Park in Detroit, Angel Stadium of Anaheim, Citi Field in New York, Chase Field in Phoenix and PNC Park in Pittsburgh.

"Pretzels and baseball are two American favorites, so National Pretzel Day is the perfect opportunity to unite them," Chief Marketing Officer Rod Troni said in a statement. "We hope all the fans who try our hearty, crunchy, bold and baked pretzels will agree this substantial snack hits a homerun for taste."

Wetzel's Pretzels is also giving away free pretzels. It has two locations in Maryland:

• Arundel Mills Mall, Hanover
• Westfield Annapolis Mall, Annapolis
