Fullerton 4th Of July Fireworks 2020 Canceled
The usual Fourth of July events in and around Perry Hall are canceled, but there are several other ways to celebrate the holiday.
PERRY HALL, MD — July 4 events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the coronavirus. Many cities and towns have been forced to cancel the annual Fourth of July festivities, including around Perry Hall.
The Kingsville Independence Day Parade was canceled. However, organizers said there may be some form of alternate event taking place.
In addition, the annual Fullerton fireworks show will not happen this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"We see no way to guarantee the safety of over 12,000 citizens sitting shoulder-to-shoulder to watch the event," the Fullerton Fireworks Foundation said in a statement announcing its board of directors voted to cancel the 2020 event.
Those at the Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company had planned a Fourth of July Patriots Tour, driving through the community to celebrate the holiday, but Thursday reported the county had forced the event to be canceled. A spokesperson for the county did not immediately respond to an inquiry from Patch with a request for comment Thursday afternoon.

Here's what is happening in and around Perry Hall for Fourth of July weekend:
- Salute to America will feature complimentary hot dogs and refreshments at the Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company firehouse from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 4. Vehicles and floats that had planned to participate in the Patriots Tour will be on display, and the fire company will livestream them for those who cannot attend.
- The Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company is hosting a small parade with music, raffles and food trucks from 3 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 4.
