Gators Snap Up a Win at Homecoming Game

Perry Hall Gators defeated the Parkville Knights Friday after pep rally.

The Perry Hall Gators beat the Parkville Knights at Friday’s homecoming game.

Beforehand, students came together for a pep rally and showed their school spirit with signs, cheers and faces painted blue and gold.

The wave of Gator pride helped pump up the players, who chomped the Knights, winning 53-13.

Gators coach Keith Robinson lauded quarterback Reece Wiseman, a senior who threw four touchdowns, telling The Baltimore Sun after the game: “We’ve got a good trigger man” and the team “start[ed] clicking.” Read the Sun’s analysis.

After the Sept. 25 homecoming game at Perry Hall, police said there was a large disturbance in the parking lot as 2,000 people in attendance filed out.

Next up, the Gators go on the road to Catonsville, facing the Comets at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2.
