Groundbreaking For New Perry Hall Elementary Planned

The new 725-seat elementary school is getting off the ground in Perry Hall.

PERRY HALL, MD — There will be a ceremonial groundbreaking for the new elementary school designed to ease overcrowding in the northeastern part of Baltimore County. The $49 million elementary school will be built off Joppa Road in Perry Hall.

The new school is slated to open by fall 2018. It will have a capacity of 725 students.

The principal of the new school, Charlene Behnke, will join Interim Superintendent of Baltimore County Public Schools Verletta White and Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz at the kickoff event at the school site on Monday.

The ceremonial groundbreaking will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 20, at 4816 Joppa Road, Perry Hall, MD 21128.
