After Perry Hall House Fire, Community Can Help
A house fire broke out in Perry Hall over the weekend, leaving a woman in need.

PERRY HALL, MD — Firefighters battled a house fire Saturday in Perry Hall that left a woman without her home. The blaze was in the 8500 block of Hanf Road.
Neighbors who want to help can bring donations such as clothing and gift cards to her friend at the White Marsh Mall. Instructions are at the end of the article.
Crews were dispatched to the house fire before 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, according to authorities. Firefighters found heavy fire at the residence, according to the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company.

Flames were coming from the first and second floors of the home, reported the Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company, whose crew helped battle the blaze.

According to Fox 45, the homeowner was not at the residence when the fire broke out.
The Providence Volunteer Fire Company, which also responded to the blaze, said that its crew of four volunteers spent more than four hours working at the scene.


In the aftermath of the fire, Councilman David Marks relayed a message from the victim's friend, Barb, who is collecting donations to support the resident as she recovers.
What she needs are personal items, including women's clothing size 14 and XL. Donations may be dropped off at the White Marsh Mall Management Office, 8200 Perry Hall Boulevard, Baltimore, MD 21236, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
