House of Cards Seeks Extras in White Marsh

Casting agency issues call for paid extras as Netflix show approaches fourth season.

Producers for House of Cards have announced a casting call on Sunday, May 31, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at The Avenue at White Marsh, 8125 Honeygo Boulevard, in White Marsh. Park behind Kobe Steakhouse.

The casting company is looking for the following:

  • “Men in black”
  • “Government official types”
  • Ladies in cocktail/party dresses
  • Black-tie affair dress
  • “Working-class types”
  • Business casual individuals
  • “Art gallery types”

For those who cannot make it on Sunday, email selfies including name, sizes, height, weight and union status to mhc.drama@gmail.com. There is also a casting call in Annapolis on Saturday, May 30. Get details here.

People must be at least 18 years old to participate. Bring two forms of identification to the casting call, and come prepared for the camera—women should have their makeup and hair done and all should wear their best business attire.

Production of House of Cards, season four, is slated to begin this summer and air in 2016, the announcement said.

The Netflix show has a soundstage in Harford County, where it has been filming since season one.
