I-95 Exit to I-695 Closed Overnight for Roadwork

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD – The inner loop of the Baltimore beltway will be closed temporarily at Interstate 95 Tuesday night for lane striping, according to the State Highway Administration.

Traffic on I-95 north will be detoured onto MD 43 east/White Marsh Boulevard to MD 7 east to MD 43 west to I-95 south to I-695 east, highway officials said.

The closure of all lanes of I-695 east at the exit for I-95 will allow for crews to re-stripe the road, which is part of the Maryland Transportation Authority’s I-95 Improvement Project with Express Toll Lanes.

Re-striping work began Monday night and will continue Tuesday night, potentially lasting from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday.
