18 Hospitalized From I-95 Crash Near White Marsh: Report

The multi-vehicle crash closed all lanes of Interstate 95 north Sunday afternoon.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Interstate 95 was temporarily shut down to northbound traffic Sunday afternoon as the result of a multi-vehicle crash.

The lane closures allowed multiple emergency vehicles to respond to the scene, where state transportation officials said six vehicles collided on I-95 north before the White Marsh Boulevard exit around 1:45 p.m.

The collision happened during a traffic stop on the left shoulder, and the pileup sent 18 people to area hospitals, police told The Baltimore Sun.
