Ida Magdalene Poole, 90, of Perry Hall

On April 6, 2016, Ida Magdalene (nee Steinbacher) Poole of Perry Hall; beloved wife of Kenneth Poole and the late Frank Simms; devoted mother of Kenneth Simms and his wife Penny, and Jeanne Ulrich and her husband Dean; cherished grandmother of James, Aimee, Mark, Alisa and Tina; loving great-grandmother of six great-grandchildren. Ida is preceded in death by her siblings George J. Steinbacher, John A. Steinbacher , Louis Steinbacher, Joseph Steinbacher, Margaret Sulhoff, Catherine Clemons, and Joan Turnbull. Also, survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor Ida’s life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services – Parkville, 8800 Harford Rd. on Friday, April 8, 2016, from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m., where a funeral service will be held Saturday April 9, 2016, at 10 a.m. Interment Parkwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ida’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association- 1850 York Rd, Timonium, MD 21093.
