Invasion at Gunpowder Lodge
The local tavern hosted a band that plays British rock music of the 60s and 70s
Perry Hall's live music scene extends beyond choir concerts at Perry Hall Middle School.
Last night, Gunpowder Lodge, a long standing tavern tucked inside the Gunpowder Falls State Park, hosted Invasion, a four-man band that plays British rock music of the 60s and 70s.
"We have this whole genre to ourselves in this area," said Jimmy Brown of Catonsville, 54, lead singer and gutarist in the band.

Although the musicians sometimes rotate, Friday's performance also included Dino Lisi of Silver Spring, Buzzy London of Timonium and Lee Townsend of Westminster.
Band members are united by their passion for the music of their teens and 20s—The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Yardbirds, The Kinks, The Animals and The Who.
