Jackknifed Tractor-Trailer Snarls Traffic On I-95 South

A tractor-trailer temporarily shut down southbound traffic Thursday on I-95.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD - Interstate 95 was temporarily shut down to southbound traffic on Thursday around lunchtime, due to a jackknifed tractor-trailer.

Before 12:30 p.m., the Maryland Transportation Authority reported that all lanes of I-95 south were closed as officials responded to the incident, which occurred past the exit for I-695 (exit 64).

The tractor-trailer had been cleared to the right shoulder, officials reported after 12:35 p.m.

Still, traffic cameras showed the delays continued on I-95 south near I-695.
