Kingsville Breaks Ground On New Fire Station

The $4 million project will reportedly renovate and expand the decades-old firehouse in Kingsville.

KINGSVILLE, MD - Elected officials and community members heralded the start of construction on the new Kingsville fire station Tuesday with a special groundbreaking.

The project will cost $4 million. The state and local government have already earmarked funds for the construction project.

The fire company started in 1954 in a barn, officials said, and the neighborhood fire company grew into what it is today, an organization with more than 100 active members.
