Kingsville Park Improvements Underway: Marks
One of the oldest parks in the county is getting updated, Baltimore County Councilman David Marks says.

Recently, Baltimore County Councilman David Marks reported that the latest in a series of improvements at Kingsville Park is getting underway.
Marks said he became involved after the Kingsville Recreation Council asked him to intervene in summer 2014 to help update the park.
Now, the Baltimore County Office of Property Management is currently hiring a site engineer to come up with a plan for dealing with standing water throughout the site, which is located at 11700 Franklinville Road, Marks said.

The county will be working this month to renovate and maintain the ball diamonds, according to Marks.
Already, Marks noted there has been one improvement at the 22-acre park. An area where balls got lost near the lower diamond has been mowed, he said.

“This is one of older parks in the northeast, and it is very important to our families in Kingsville, Bradshaw, and northern Perry Hall,” Marks said. “I would like to thank the county executive’s staff and our recreation and parks officials for helping to improve Kingsville Park.”
The Baltimore County Department of Parks and Recreation manages more than 200 parks and leased recreation spaces.
