Kono Pizza to Open in White Marsh This Fall

WHITE MARSH, MD — Diners who would rather do without utensils will be pleased to know about the latest business coming to White Marsh Mall.

Kono To-Go will dish up pizzas in homemade dough cones as well as dessert cones filled with ingredients like Nutella, chocolate, berries and tiramisu that can be held in one's hand for consumption.

“We are providing consumers with a fresh, unique and convenient new alternative to the standard snack options you see in malls and other venues,” Kono USA Co-Founder David Ragosa said in a statement. The company developed its dessert cones in partnership with Ghirardelli, he said.

The Kono-To-Go kiosk in White Marsh Mall will open in November, according to a statement Kono USA.

The White Marsh location is one of three that franchisee Tony Murphy is opening in the coming months. Another will launch at the Annapolis Mall and a third will be coming to a yet-to-be-determined location.
