Larry Ward, 42, of Baltimore County Police Department

On Monday, Aug. 29, 2016, Larry Ward, 19-year officer of the Baltimore County Police Department, passed away suddenly at the age of 42.

He was the cherished son of Brenda and the late Gary Grant; caring brother of Linda Hoffmann and husband David; and loving uncle of Brian, Brittany, Keely, and Henry Hoffmann. Also survived by many other family members and caring friends.

Larry’s life will be honored at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services – Bel Air, 3 Newport Dr. (Rts 23 & 24 – Forest Hill) on Friday, Sept. 2, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m., where a funeral service will be held on the following day — Saturday, Sept. 3 — beginning at 1 p.m. Interment to take place on a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry’s name to: Mirmont Treatment Center Development Office, 100 Yearsley Mill Road, Lima, PA 19063.
