Lidl Grand Opening Date Is Set In Perry Hall

PERRY HALL, MD — The Lidl grocery store in Perry Hall will host a grand opening that spans several days. Prizes, giveaways and special offers will be part of the festivities.

The first day the store will be open is Wednesday, Jan. 22, and grand opening events will continue through the weekend.

Lidl (which rhymes with needle) is a German grocer that fills its stores with curated products deemed to be the best quality and price. Its products include organic and gluten-free items, from vegetables to meat to dairy and more. About 90 percent of products are Lidl's own label, for which it conducts rigorous quality control testing. Non-food items — like fitness gear, small kitchen appliances, toys and outdoor furniture — will be offered for a limited time on a rotating basis.

"Our newest store in Perry Hall will deliver healthy, fresh and award-winning products at prices that are truly attainable and will not break the bank," Perry Hall Lidl Manager Melissa Miller said in a statement.

The Perry Hall Lidl is one of two in Baltimore County opening Jan. 22 — the Catonsville Lidl at 6026 Baltimore National Pike is opening that day as well.

Ribbon cutting events will be held at 7:40 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Lidl will be open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

"The team and I look forward to serving the community every day starting Jan. 22!" Miller said.

The Perry Hall store is opening at 8667 Belair Road.
