Lightning Strikes Condo Near Parkville, Officials Say
Tenants and pets were rescued from the condo in Baltimore County Saturday, according to officials.
PARKVILLE, MD — A lightning strike caused a condo fire Saturday in Parkville, according to investigators.
The fire in the 2200 block of Lowells Glen Road broke out before 3 p.m., the Baltimore County Fire Department reported.
Crews evacuated tenants at the building, where officials said fire was through the roof.

Nobody was injured, fire authorities reported.
Several pets were rescued, and the Red Cross was assisting displaced tenants, according to the fire department.
