Officials say American Tire Distributors is moving from Halethorpe to new complex off MD 43.

American Tire Distributors is moving to Baltimore Crossroads, the development off MD 43 at Crossroads Circle in White Marsh, county officials announced this week.
“American Tire joins companies such as Reliable Churchill and BGE HOME in benefitting from easy access to Interstate 95 and the Baltimore beltway, and a great pool of talented workers,” said Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz in a statement.

In White Marsh, a 138,240-square-foot warehouse is being built specifically for the company, which is among the largest independent suppliers of tires, wheels and other products, according to Baltimore County officials.
The new industrial building will feature 28-foot clear ceiling heights, 26 rear loading docks and two drive-in doors, a 125-foot truck court and approximately 11,000 square feet of office space, officials said.

The company plans to move into the building in the fall, the Baltimore Business Journal reported.
Kamenetz said the move was testimony to the site’s “success as a great business location,” according to a statement from Baltimore County.
Situated on 1,000 acres off MD 43, Baltimore Crossroads features more than 6 million feet of warehouse, industrial, commercial office and retail space and is also home to single-family residences, condominiums, townhouses and a luxury apartment complex.
“Baltimore Crossroads continues its success of attracting new business and employees to White Marsh Middle River,” Councilwoman Cathy Bevins, whose district includes White Marsh and Middle River, said in prepared remarks. “We welcome American Tire to our business community and know they will benefit from this great location.”
