Man Jumps Off White Marsh Crane with 2 GoPros: Police
Police said a construction worker tried to record himself jumping off a 160-foot crane in White Marsh and ended up injured.

WHITE MARSH, MD – An Oregon man was hospitalized after he jumped off a crane near White Marsh Mall, and his parachute failed to open, Baltimore County police reported. Police said the man was wearing a helmet with two GoPros attached when the injury occurred Monday night.
Police said that David Matthew Mazik, 33, of King City, Ore., worked at the construction site in White Marsh where he jumped from a 160-foot crane and injured himself.
First responders were called to the scene at approximately 8:12 p.m. Monday because he had been injured, landing on a steel box when his parachute did not deploy.

According to WJZ, he was conscious and able to communicate when first responders arrived at the construction site in the 8200 block of Town Center Drive.
Mazik was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview for medical treatment.
