Neale is "the artist," who is an expert in cake decorating, Theresa Zaragoza told Perry Hall Patch.
When they opened above Conrad's several years ago, "the dream was to have a retail shop someday," she said. Now they have their own bakery in the shopping center off Belair Road.
Tables, chairs and warm decor to make people feel at home. It's working — "We already have 'regulars,'" Neale said.

While the bakery serves a lemon meringue tart, Theresa Zaragoza told Patch the reason for the name was because "meringue is the basis" for several desserts, like macaroons and pies. Meringue is made of egg whites and sugar.

Meringue Cake Studio is located at 8742 Belair Rd, Nottingham, in the Perry Hall Crossing shopping center. The shop's grand opening event is 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8.
Regular hours are 7 a.m.-7 p.m. daily, except 7 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday.
