MOM's Organic Market Opening in White Marsh
A new grocery store in White Marsh will usher in its grand opening with music, giveaways and a three-day celebration.
WHITE MARSH, MD - A new grocery store specializing in organic items is opening up in White Marsh this month.
MOM's Organic Market will host a grand opening Nov. 11 to Nov. 13. Dozens of vendors such as Honest Tea and Dr. Bronner's will be on-site promoting their products, with giveaways and live music also on tap.
It marks the ninth location for MOM's in Maryland; other stores are in Bowie, College Park, Frederick, Hampden, Jessup, Rockville, Timonium and Waldorf. The company also operates in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

The market is known for its organic produce, sustainable seafood and array of natural body care products.
The White Marsh store has solar panels built into its design, and it offers car charging stations and a recycling center for cell phones, wine corks, eyeglasses, plastic bags, batteries and shoes.
