Murder Charge Filed In Excape Nightclub Stabbing
Police have charged one man with murder and identified the victim who died after a stabbing outside Excape Nightclub in Baltimore County.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Police have charged a Joppa man with murder in the fatal stabbing outside Excape nightclub over the weekend.
Joshua David Edwards, 28, of the 200 block of Kershaw Court in Joppa, is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center on a first-degree murder charge. Court records show he was taken into custody Saturday.
The charge stems from the deadly stabbing outside Excape Nightclub in the 10000 block of Pulaski Highway reported at 12:15 a.m. Saturday, according to police.

Officials said Edwards got into an argument with another man, which escalated when Edwards pulled out a knife and stabbed him outside the adult entertainment venue.

Police identified the victim as David Bryan Collins Jr., 32, of the 100 block of Breakwater Court in Joppa. Collins died at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
Edwards has a bail review hearing scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday in Baltimore County District Court.
