New Northeast Elementary School: Meet The Principal

PERRY HALL, MD — The new northeast elementary school is opening in September 2018 for students. In preparation, the school system has arranged a series of meet and greet events where people can get to know the new principal.

The events are billed as "Coffee with the Principal" and will be held four days in April. Principal Charlene Behnke there to provide information and listen to ideas.

The new school will have a capacity of 725 students and is designed to help ease packed schools in the Perry Hall area.

"Coffee with the Principal" is open to parents and guardians of students who will be attending the new school.

Here are the dates:

• 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 16, at Perry Hall Elementary
• 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, at Chapel Hill Elementary
• 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, at Joppa View Elementary
• 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, at Gunpowder Elementary
