New White Marsh Boulevard Ramps to I-95 Open This Week

The 'flyover ramps' are part of the new I-95 Express Toll Lanes project, Maryland Transportation Authority says.

Starting Tuesday morning, a new ramp will be open on White Marsh Boulevard for drivers heading to Interstate 95.

Drivers on White Marsh Boulevard/MD 43 who are headed west will see a “flyover ramp” to the interstate. To access the ramp, motorists should be in the right lane on MD 43.

A ramp connecting eastbound White Marsh Boulevard will open Thursday, weather-permitting.

There will be a second decision point on each ramp from MD 43 to access northbound or southbound I-95, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

The new ramps are part of the I-95/MD 43 interchange for the Maryland Transportation Authority’s I-95 Express Toll Lanes Project, which aims to ease congestion on I-95 by providing four additional lanes (two north, two south) on the interstate for 8 miles between I-895 and MD 43. That project is expected to be complete in December.
