UPDATE: Police Say Two Teens Killed from Perry Hall Crash
Baltimore County police say vehicle lost control, hit two trees.

UPDATE (11 a.m. on Monday, June 8)—The driver involved in Friday evening’s fatal crash in Perry Hall has died, police reported Monday morning.
James Richard Murphy V, 18, , of the 5500 block of Maudes Way, was driving on Joppa Road near Brewers Drive when his Volkswagen Jetta lost control, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
His passenger—18-year-old Nathan Alexander Chappelle, of the 5500 block of Rogue Court—was pronounced dead at the scene, police previously reported.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation Monday morning, according to Baltimore County police.

Nathan Alexander Chappelle, 18, of the 5500 block of Rogue Court, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision, which occurred before 9 p.m. Friday on Joppa Road near Brewers Drive, police reported.
Chapelle was a passenger in a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta that lost control, crossed Joppa Road and hit two trees off the roadway, according to the report.
The driver—James Richard Murphy V, 18, of the 5500 block of Maudes Way—was airlifted to shock trauma, where he was in critical condition, police said Saturday.
Police said the 2001 Jetta was headed east on Joppa Road it went out of control, and authorities have not yet determined the cause for the crash; the investigation is continuing.
