Paddlefest Offers Kayak and Paddleboard Fun on the Gunpowder River

Free festival offering beginner clinics and demos of kayaks and stand up paddle boards on Saturday, May 16.

Ultimate Watersports will be hosting its 15th Annual Chesapeake Bay Paddlefest on Saturday, May 16th from 11AM-4PM. Free intro clinics will be offered for both kayak and stand up paddle boards (SUP). Prior registration for clinics is required and all clinic students must be 13 or older. Many different kayak and SUP brands will be available for demo for free. There will also be live music, and food, snacks and drinks for sale.

The event is free, but there is an admission to enter Gunpowder Falls State Park. The Maryland State Park does charge a $5/person admission fee for guests arriving in vehicles with Maryland tags, and $7/person for vehicles from out-of-state.
