Passenger Killed In Kingsville Crash, Driver Critical: Police
Police said a car crashed on Raphel Road near Bradshaw Road Wednesday night, killing one and injuring another person inside.
KINGSVILLE, MD — A passenger was killed in a car crash near Kingsville Wednesday night, according to the Baltimore County Police Department. Police said the man who had been driving was in critical condition.
Samantha Jean Muehleisen, 24, of the 600 block of Yorkshire Drive in Edgewood, was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to authorities.
Police said the crash occurred when a Chrysler 300 was headed north on Raphel Road near Bradshaw Road around 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 2. It crossed into oncoming traffic, then hit a BGE pole and crashed into a tree, officials reported.

As a result of the crash, police said the vehicle caught fire, and both people inside suffered burns and other injuries.
After the crash, the driver was taken with life-threatening injuries and burns to an area hospital, where officials said Thursday afternoon that he was in critical condition.

Muehleisen died at the scene, police said. While authorities reported she had not been positively identified as of Thursday afternoon, they released her name on Friday afternoon.
