Patrick Stephen Stillmock, 68

Patrick Stephen Stillmock passed on in the early morning hours of Feb. 20, 2016, with his beloved wife and two children at his side. He begins a new journey without need to look back, only forward. Patrick was a man of exceptional generosity who placed the care of his family above all else though he would never turn away any person in need. He gave fully of himself and never kept a balance sheet of what was owed him. He found joy in constant learning and creative problem-solving—building, adapting, repurposing, and finding useful value in all things.

For Patrick, physical exertion, being outside, and accomplishing something each day brought him contentment.

Patrick is survived by those for whom he himself had lived; his wife of more than 45 years, Jeanne Eleanor Stillmock (nee Mersinger); son Kevin Ryan Stillmock and his wife Julia; daughter Kimberly Renee Dexter and her wife Samantha; grandson Nicholas Patrick Stillmock; sisters Winifred Quintilian and her husband Paul, Kathleen Hildebrand and her husband Ron, Barbara Sheffert, and Michele Miser; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Family and dear friends may gather for a memorial service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Heritage Parkville Gardens, 7631 Harford Road, Parkville. A celebration of Patrick's life will follow.
