Perry Hall Apple Festival Postponed Due To Forecast

The Perry Hall Apple Festival was pushed back a week. It will feature crafters, food vendors and entertainment for the whole family.

PERRY HALL, MD — Due to weather, the Perry Hall Apple Festival, which was originally planned for this weekend, is being held on the rain date. Now the festival is set for Saturday, Sept. 22, and Sunday, Sep. 23.

Annually the family friendly festival is held the third weekend in September, but because of weather it was pushed back one week.

This year there will be more than 40 crafters and plenty of activities at the festival.

Hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, and Sunday, Sept. 23, at Chapel Hills Farm and Nursery.

Live bluegrass music by Arrow Horse Band is set for noon-4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22.

There will also be food vendors with festival fare for sale as well as crafters selling everything from handmade tote bags to aromatherapy. Masters of the Chainsaw sculptures will also be on-site.

Admission is free.

These activities will require tickets, which are $2 each or 12 for $20:

  • Tractor-drawn hay rides
  • Train rides
  • Gator wagon train
  • Petting zoo
  • Pedal tractors

The Perry Hall Apple Festival will be Saturday, Sept. 22, and Sunday, Sept. 23, at Chapel Hills Farm & Nursery, 4350 Chapel Road, Perry Hall. It is hosted by the Perry Hall Improvement Association and Chapel Hills Farm.
