Perry Hall Basketball Court Robbery Nets 9 Charges For Teen
Police said the teen suspected in a robbery at Perry Hall High School was linked to two other crimes.

PERRY HALL, MD — A teen has been charged after authorities say they linked him to three Perry Hall robberies in the past few months. One was on the basketball court at Perry Hall High School.
Cameron Jamal Thomas, 18, of the 2600 block of Kirk Avenue in Baltimore, is charged with nine offenses in connection with an incident that occurred Nov. 12, court records show.
Police allege Thomas and a friend acted like they wanted to join a basketball game at Perry Hall High School, then robbed the two teens who had been playing around 4 p.m. that day in the 4600 block of Ebenezer Road.

Thomas, who acted as if he had a gun, took a watch and cell phone from one victim while his friend pushed the other and stole that teen's cell phone, according to officials. The victim suffered injuries that police said were not life-threatening.
Thomas was charged with armed robbery; two counts of robbery; three counts of second-degree assault; and three counts of theft from $100 to under $1,500. He is also charged with second-degree assault and theft from $100 to $1,500 in a Jan. 28 case, court records show.

Thomas is being held without bail after a bail review hearing Tuesday.
