Perry Hall Boys Lacrosse - Undefeated Season

Perry Hall’s U13 boys lacrosse team completed their undefeated season with a win over host Havre De Grace earlier today. The Perry Hall Gators jumped out to an early lead with goals by Jake Hutchins & Noah Heitner. Carson Buzgierdki tallied 5 goals for the day as well.  The Gators strong defensive effort kept the ball away from the goal, leading to the 12-4 win. Today’s win pushed the Gators to a 9-0 record in Maryland Youth Lacrosse’s top division.

“These young men have worked hard on and off the field all season” said head coach Mark Middlestadt, while celebrating with the team. “This is a special group of boys that win not only on the field but in the classroom as well” Middlestadt added.

The team, made up of all 7th grade boys (16 in total) from the Perry Hall area, have been playing together for 5 years. “These guys are like my brothers” said 13 year old team captain Tyler Cahill. The Gators will next play in the LaxSplash tournament in early June. The boys hope to defend their 2015 championship in the multi-state lacrosse event.
