Perry Hall Christian School Competes for $10,000 in Video Contest

The school's 30-second video is in the running for BGE's 'Wires Down' contest.

Perry Hall Christian is one of 20 schools competing for $10,000 in a contest sponsored by BGE.

In BGE’s “Wires Down Video Challenge,” students from area schools create a 30- to 45-second commercial about electrical safety using the utility company’s “Wires Down” spot as a template; BGE ran that commercial in 2000 as a way of reminding children to steer clear of fallen wires.

The video challenge is now in its third year, and Perry Hall Christian School’s entry is a 30-second spot in contention for the $10,000 prize BGE is offering to fund an enrichment project.
