Perry Hall Councilman Orders Zoning Review

PERRY HALL, MD – Baltimore County Councilman David Marks has commissioned a review of thousands of acres within the Fifth District.

Marks said that the review will help identify how development should proceed.

Here are some issues in the Perry Hall area, according to Marks:

  • The Perry Hall Improvement Association has asked for the downzoning of the 50-plus acre Gerst Farm near Glenside Farms and the Honeygo Village Center. More than 140 homes could be built here at the current zoning, according to Marks.
  • A public hearing on the issue of zoning is planned for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, at Perry Hall High School, 4601 Ebenezer Road. People can start signing up at 5 p.m. that day.
