Perry Hall High School Threat Is Not Credible, Police Say

PERRY HALL, MD — Police have determined a threat against Perry Hall High School is not credible. The Baltimore County Police Department will have additional officers on campus the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 15, to address concerns students may have.

The rumor of a threat spread on social media, according to police, who are currently working with students and members of the department's mobile crisis unit to address what authorities said was an "ongoing dispute with one another from which this rumor began."

School resource officers will be on campus and available to talk with students Tuesday morning, officials said.

"We will remain vigilant and continue to work with Baltimore County Public Schools in monitoring this situation," the Baltimore County Police Department said in a statement Monday night.
