Perry Hall Man Hit, Killed Crossing Street: Police

PERRY HALL, MD — A man was killed in Perry Hall in a crash over the weekend, according to police.

John Eric Bartoszak, 67, of the 4100 block of Glen Park Road, was crossing Glen Park Road when he was hit by a car at 5:45 p.m. on Sunday, officials said.

The 2002 Acura was headed west on Glen Park Road when it crashed into the pedestrian before the Dundawan Road intersection, according to police.

Bartoszak was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where authorities said he later died.

The Baltimore County Police Department is still investigating what contributed to the fatal crash.
