Perry Hall Man Killed In Baltimore City: Police

BALTIMORE, MD — A Perry Hall resident was among the recent homicide victims in Baltimore City. The Baltimore Police Department released the names of last week's shooting victims on Monday, Dec. 17, and one was from the Perry Hall area.

James McFadden, 47, of the unit block of Neves Court, died on Monday, Dec. 10, police said. His address is in the Seven Courts Condominiums near the Festival at Perry Hall shopping center.

Police said McFadden was gunned down in broad daylight in the 2400 block of Reisterstown Road on Sunday, Dec. 9. Officers from the western district were called for a report of gunshots in the area at 2:32 p.m. and found he had been shot in the upper body.

McFadden was taken to an area hospital for treatment, where police said he died on Monday, Dec. 10.

Baltimore City is approaching 300 murders so far this year.
