Perry Hall Patch Turns 2, Still Growing

What was I doing exactly two years ago?

We were knee-deep in a , settling into a , enjoying the and filling our weekends with .

But, for the most part, I was just running around trying to convince to .

A lot of the responses I got sounded like this: "There's nothing going on here. What are you going to report on?"

For the past two years, I've carried those words with me, asking myself that same question over and over again.

The most surprising part of this job, since we , has been the huge volume of news and information produced by this community. I can hardly keep up with this fascinatingly active place.

Of course, born, raised and educated here, I should have expected it. There was always something special about Perry Hall—the residents feel in living here, its and .

I really do love Perry Hall.

My life has changed a lot over the . I've gone from a Local Editor to a Senior Local Editor, I got engaged to the ridiculously attractive Steven Pope (who I even convinced to move from Baltimore to Perry Hall) and I've made a lot of friends.

But mostly, I think I can safely say, without a doubt, that there is a lot going on in Perry Hall.
