Perry Hall Woman Dies After Crash On Belair Road: Police
Officials said the Belair Road crash was caused by a medical emergency and left one person dead.
PERRY HALL, MD — A Perry Hall woman died in a crash Thursday afternoon in a vehicle where she was a passenger, according to police. The driver suffered a medical emergency on Belair Road and was treated for minor injuries, officials said.
Phyllis Ann Cloud, 90, of the unit block of Powhurst Court was taken of Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center after the crash, which occurred around 2:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, according to authorities.
She had been sitting in the front passenger seat of the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu that hit a pole near Silver Spring Road, police reported. At the hospital, officials said Cloud was pronounced deceased.

Police said the Malibu had been headed north on US 1 when it jumped a curb near Silver Spring Road and hit a BGE pole.
The 61-year-old man who had been driving was treated for a medical emergency, which authorities said caused the crash. He was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries and is expected to survive, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
