Man In Kingsville Rescued Under 1,000-Pound Drill Press
A man was trapped under a 1,000-pound drill press Thursday in Kingsville, officials said.

KINGSVILLE, MD — A man was airlifted after getting trapped under heavy machinery in Kingsville Thursday afternoon, according to authorities.
Emergency personnel were called to the 11800 block of Cedar Lane for a person stuck under a "large piece of machinery," the Baltimore County Volunteer Firefighter's Association reported.
A man had been trapped under a 1,000-pound drill press for more than four hours, according to the Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company, which reported crews used an air bag system in the rescue.

Officials said the call was dispatched at 1:59 p.m., and the victim had been freed by 2:42 p.m.

The man was airlifted by Maryland State Police medevac for treatment, according to authorities, who said the helicopter landed at Belair Road and Longfield Drive.
Fire officials said his injuries were life-threatening.
