It was all part of a four-man training exercise outside the Perry Hall Baptist Church Tuesday afternoon.

"This is about the best place to go," Sayler said. "I don't think anyone minds getting their parking lot washed."

Charlie Taylor, a retired Baltimore County firefighter, offered training instruction. He and Sayler's father are friends and former colleagues.

Working with Sayler "makes me feel old," he says with a laugh.
