Pie Five Pizza Opens in White Marsh

WHITE MARSH, MD — There is a new make-your-own pizza place near Perry Hall. Pie Five Pizza opened up on Campbell Boulevard this week.

At Pie Five, diners create their own personal pizzas. They go down the line of ingredients, customizing their crusts, sauces, cheeses, meats and vegetable toppings. Within minutes, the pizza is cooked in the pizza oven and is ready to eat. The restaurant also offers salads and pie for dessert.

To celebrate its grand opening on Sept. 8, Pie Five donated a portion of the proceeds that day to the Living Legacy Foundation, a nonprofit organ and tissue donation organization.

Local franchisee Jeff Mengel, who owns the White Marsh restaurant, opened the region's first Pie Five in 2014 and has since opened restaurants in Columbia, Ellicott City, Glen Burnie and Owings Mills. There are more than 90 Pie Five restaurants nationwide.

Pie Five Pizza is located at 5209B Campbell Boulevard in White Marsh. Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
